More information is coming out regarding the direction Assemblyman John Perez plans to take AB 1139.

For proponents of the program, it looks like it will be disappointing.  Ideas being floated include an increase to the credit for employers who provide health benefits, the elimination of vouchering employees after they have been hired, the elimination of targeted employment areas as a qualification, and the addition of reporting requirements on employers who receive tax credits.
