Breaking News: Sen. Steinberg Pulls SB 974 From Committee Hearing

SB 974 will not be heard at tomorrow’s Assembly Jobs Committee hearing. Senator Steinberg has “pulled the bill,” which at least means the hearing will be delayed to a later date. Since the bill is a tax levy, it is not subject to the July 2 deadline.
