The Assembly Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy Committee is holding a series of hearings on the Enterprise Zone program to consider possible reforms. The impetus for the hearings is AB 1139, which seeks to make sweeping changes. The first of these hearings is scheduled for August 18th in Sacramento at the Capitol. The Committee is attempting to hold an additional two hearings, but dates and places have yet to be determined.
