Lancaster, home to the Antelope Valley Enterprise Zone, received the 2007 Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation‘s “Eddy” Award for most business friendly city in Los Angeles County.
Other cities nominated were Burbank, Cerritos, Long Beach, Palmdale (Lancaster’s partner in the AVEZ), and Santa Clarita. Four out of six nominated cities are home to Enterprise Zones.
