When Will The Budget Pass?

Not on time.  Today, June 15th, is the Constitutional deadline for passing the budget.  According to the Sacramento Bee:

Legislators have made that deadline only four times since 1977, all during the 1980s, according to the Department of Finance. The last time was back in 1986.

After June 15, the Legislature faces its next deadline on July 1, the start of the fiscal year. Lawmakers have managed to beat that date 13 times since 1977.
